The User Ncom.Sax was allowed for TO-live.org to get a glimpse on the new features of Tactical Ops Crossfire version 1.91.Thereby it was possible for him to get some insight views of a common beta test cycle. The test started at 20:30 local time but Ncom.sax was getting critical errors all the time. He accidentally gave the wrong GUID to Int how had the problem then solved by adjusting some files which had to be downloaded by the other testers again just to make Ncom happy.First the map Getaway (introduced in 1.9) was loaded and a quick 5on5 game set up for testing. In doing so the new feature "Colored Weaponbar with Weaponstatus" was given a practical check.I (Ncom.sax) personally noticed that I wasn't regarding this very much. The over-worked buymenu however showed up as really useful. As not being a friend of Keybindings Ncom.sax was enthusiastic right form the beginning. Even the framedrops in the menu where fixed. After this short test match which went on without any problems the testing team switched to the new map Trainstation for a detailed survey.I (Ncom.sax) was really curious about this map and started with great expectations in the game. And to my pleasure I wasn't disappointed at all.Especially the doorway leading to the terror base is well done in my opinion.Obviously are some bugs left as this enormous wave but if you like it this way just mail InT-2k and he's probably going to build a public swimming pool out of it.Now let's continue our journey on the bridge and make a quick promenade in the park. You're however not going to have much time to enjoy the view unless you like getting shot instantly.Ncom thereby preferably went to the main room cleaning the stairs from the evil SF want to free the hostages. To complete the test eventing we were allowed to populate a jet unfinished map (which one is confidential right now) and I'm tight to see how it's going to look in the final version. But i can say that it fits the general TO:C theme and will integrate itself into the other maps pretty well. Now it has gone late and the beta test is reaching its end. This may look short in this report but it used up quite a few of my nerves and time as well to look really close and try different things if they work as expected and so on. I'd like to thank the complete Tactical Ops Crossfire team and the other beta testers for this unique insight.I hope that the patch will improve the game in a positive way. And of course that it's going to be released soon.
